The adidas AE 1 Ascent introduces a sleek Charcoal and Core Black colorway to NBA player Anthony Edwards’ first signature sneaker with adidas.

This mid-top sneaker is built for performance, featuring a lightweight TPU-encased Jet Boost and LightStrike midsole, supported by a full-length torsional plate for added stability. The upper is made of tightly woven mesh, with honeycomb-patterned TPU side panels that enhance breathability while providing structure. These side panels also feature a unique marbled pattern in Charcoal, making the "Ascent" design stand out among other AE 1 models. The sneaker includes minimal branding, with a rubberized 3-Stripes logo on the molded back heel.

Additionally, the oversized herringbone traction pattern on the rubber outsole offers excellent grip and complements the honeycomb design on the side panels. Released on July 20, 2024, the adidas AE 1 Ascent retailed for $120.
