Nike Basketball and Undefeated teamed up to celebrate Kobe Bryant's birthday with the release of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro Undefeated "Spurs." This special edition honors Kobe's legacy as part of a collection of four Kobe 4 Protros representing members of Team Kobe, released for Mamba Day. The black colorway pays tribute to Kobe’s iconic "Mamba Mentality."

As part of the Protro series, this Kobe 4 features upgraded technology, a modernized upper, and enhanced materials. The shoe showcases a black iridescent patent leather upper with signature Flywire technology on the sides, contrasted by white accents. The tongues are adorned with Kobe's signature logo and the Undefeated 5 strike logo. A Zoom Air cushioned midsole and iridescent Undefeated logos, along with "8" and "24" heel details, honor Kobe Bryant’s enduring legacy.

These sneakers were released in September 2019 with a retail price of $180.
